The family discount is 20% for the second, 40% for the third and 60% for the fourth and each additional family member.

Holders of the Bonn ID card receive a social discount of 50% of the tuition fees upon presentation of proof. The Bonn ID card must be presented again unsolicited after expiry so that the discount can continue to be granted.

In addition to the social reduction of 50%, benefits for education and participation (BUT), usually €10 per month per pupil, can be offset against the tuition fee. The benefits for education and participation must be applied for separately.

Pupils who are enrolled in the preparatory course receive a discount on the minor subject if they are enrolled at the music school with a major and minor subject.
