Making music is of crucial importance for the development of children's personalities because it promotes their sensory and expressive abilities as well as their linguistic development. Music is an expression of joie de vivre and strengthens children for everyday life.
In cooperation with the Office for Youth and Family of the City of Bonn, the Ludwig van Beethoven Music School Bonn offers courses for early musical education in the following daycare centers in Bonn:

- Städt. Kita Finkennest (Hardtberg)
- Municipal. Kita Pusteblume (Röttgen)
- Rainbow House (Hardtberg)
- Municipal. Kita farbenReich (Duisdorf/Lengsdorf)
- Municipal. Kita Windrad (Beuel-Limperich)
- St. Sebastian Catholic Kita (Poppelsdorf)
- Wolke 7 (Friesdorf)
- Municipal daycare center Kita Die Raupe (Buschdorf)
Lessons take place once a week and follow the curriculum of early musical education. The course is designed to last one year. A musical performance is planned for the final quarter of the course.
Only children who attend the relevant facilities can take part in the cooperation programs. The cooperating institutions inform parents about the content and scope of the programs as well as the times when registration is possible.
